Which bell TRC for an LS?

Why don't you just make your own? Buy a cheap 2 ply or even 3 ply strat pickguard or whatever and cut your own TRC. That's what i did for my LS-150. I made mine from 3-ply, which meant a lot of work to make one of the layers go away. I sanded it off, then cut the shape with an x-acto knife...

    Origional Truss Road cover

Does it make a difference? Does it say Gibson on it? I don't really think the half oval trc suits these guitars. The Bell looks much nicer. I made my own by hand from a fender pickguard. Even if you don't agree, i think you should consider making your own shape for example... Something that...

    Tokai Goldtop

The color between all Goldtops by Gibson probably wont be the same either. The Tokai Goldtops i've seen looked great, and they didn't look green-ish like some other brands do.

    Tokai v's Gibson

The main difference between Tokai and Gibson, is that Tokai guitar owners aren't cork-sniffing idiots.

    My LS125F is actually a LS135F

I hope you didn't think i was calling you an idiot, because i wasn't. It's just that so many things in this world of music don't make any sense. How people are willing to pay a lot for something just because of the year it was manufactured, when a lot of times it doesn't have any relation with...

    My LS125F is actually a LS135F

As long as they know it was either a LS135F or a LS125F, it's enough. They're the same model and will have the same value. It would be idiotic to consider otherwise, but the world is full of idiots, so who knows?...

Gibson statement on the price fixing investigation

So their pricing accurately reflects the mismanagement of their company, and not the actual cost of producing guitars in a first world country.

    My LS125F is actually a LS135F

How do you know that? Because, as i said, the year on the serial number is not evidence of the model number. The current LS160 was late last year the LS150 and before that the LS135. How are they not the same models?

    My LS125F is actually a LS135F

Oh and BTW, my LS135 has a '09 serial number. So it should be a LS150, but i don't think it works like that. My guess is that the stores order the guitars by the catalog at the time, so if they order a LS135, they'll get a LS135, and you buy a LS135, even if by the time they get it to the store...

    My LS125F is actually a LS135F

A bit pointless isn't it? Since it's the same model... But hey, if it makes you happy... 8)

Gibson statement on the price fixing investigation

Yeah, because Gibson is known for it's fair prices and faultless quality control. Who would dream of thinking they care more about overpricing their products than providing customers with quality instruments for musicians instead of collectors....

Help with identifying Love Rock. Pics included.

    http://www1.odn.ne.jp/tokaigakki/products/vintage/ls140f.html I would say it's a LS135F, that is equivalent to the current LS140F.

Does Fender make Jackson guitars? One company buying another doesn't mean it will take over production, but it will probably mean better management and better quality control.
