I bought my st55 about 4 months ago for ?300. The saddles needed replaced and I've since found out it needs a refret... ( +?100) I think I've got a pretty good deal and I'm quite happy with what I got for that price. After the refret the thing will play itself - good luck with the sell!

What do you expect to be different about the headstock? I always think the silver stars look best with the 7okai logo. You can pick them up pretty cheap on ebay. I'm amazed why people still buy mexican fenders or highway ones when you can get a nice old SS for about 250 - 300.
