    FINAL PRO SPEC

I have a maple board 1980 ST-80 with Final Prospec saddles. It must be an early '80 in that it has 80 tooled on the neck at the last fret. The trem-block is the screw-on type. I'm fairly sure it is original.

    Ebay Springy ST-60

Here's a similar body from '78 and it has the same type of labeling in the route. I guess that's how they were in '78. http://imageevent.com/chingo123/july2010/tokaispringysb5344 [/code]

    Ebay Springy ST-60

Hi, On my 2 ST80 routes, there are shallow round holes towards the ends of the pickup routes and no ST80 but a #=# with a color code printed although, these are a 1980 and 1981. Were they different before 1980? Thanks

    Ebay Springy ST-60

I noticed the pickup routs look more like Fender Japan than any of the Springys' I own. Experts, what's up with that?

    Non-Jeff Beck '81 SE-800 Super Real w/ rosewood neck?

According to the catalogs, the only rosewood SE-800 is a Jeff Beck model. Is there a Rosewood SE-800 non JB? If so what year is it modeled after? Jak

    Springy ST-80 neck question

I have noticed that Springy ST-80 necks in general have very little grain figuring in the maple. Do any of you have a Springy ST-80 with figured maple? I'm not talking about flame or birds eye. Thanks

    Fret Size

My first post! Does it lower the value of an ST-80 to re-fret with 6100 Dunlop fret wire(big stuff) as I have already done this and love the way the guitar now plays?
