Need to see pictures of the pup cavities and the rear of the pickguard,and neck codes and body codes ,If that is a 57 goldstar copy it should have only a 8 hole pickguard ,single -ply ? The knobs look original and the saddles ...by the headstock logo and saddle stamps very early transistion...

For sale : A lovely GRECO "EARLY SIXTIES" SE-700 serial number reads 79 in natural. It is in perfect working order,only one or two major dings,It is completely original...It looks like a one piece ash or sen body ,not too sure what the specs are for a se-700 1979,I think it is nitro ...

I argee with marcus :D the differences between a st-40 and a st-50 is just by a whisker,pretty much the same guitar,The pups and tuners if i recall correctly are the suspects. If the seller sold it as a st-50 ,he really really believed it was a st-50 then fair enough!Not everyone knows about...

Well if the guitar is in mint condition as you say ,i would say ?350-?400 seems fair. As for paying ?35 for petrol to pick that baby up,Shipping it to you within the uk would cost at least ?20-?25 ,i charge ? 25.00 for shipping a guitar in the uk,so thirty five quid is not far off. Its a shame...
