I do live in Tbay. I have a 79 Les Paul Reborn and bought my son an 82 Love Rock for his 17th birthday. I've also had a tokai AT 67 tele and j2oo. I've not seen many Love Rocks here and wondered about the lack of serial # Still might give it a test drive.

Are these things any good?

Wow..I haven't been here in months, but this thread lives on! Cool. Glad it stirred up denate and some answers. I actually discovered there is another 79 LP Reborn in my hometown up here in "bleakest Canada." And they really are sisters,although my burst is a bit brighter. I'll try and find...
