Recommend me a case for Tokai ES135

Has anyone tried the Thomann economy case for semi-hollow guitars? The price is certainly right, and I assume the quality is not great. But how about the fit? http://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_es_git_case.htm

Recommend me a case for Tokai ES135

Thanks for the suggestion, mydogiszen. The Hiscox Pro II case looks great, but it's also a bit pricier than I had planned. Is there no 335-style case in the Hiscox Standard range..?

Recommend me a case for Tokai ES135

Thanks guys, JVsearch described the problem better than I could. The neck angle of my ES135 is way too shallow for the insides of the Gatorcase. It's like the case was made for a 335-style guitar with a much steeper neck angle and it is not fixable by minor modifications. Maybe I got a...

Recommend me a case for Tokai ES135

Thanks for the suggestions! Just out of curiosity, which Tokai 335 model do you guys have? I'm asking because I'm starting to worry that my ES135 has some kind of odd neck/body angle... I was pretty surprised the Gatorcase was such a bad fit for my ES135. Considering (among other things)...

Recommend me a case for Tokai ES135

I need a hardshell case for my ES135. I tried the Gatorcase gc-335 but it didn't fit, not even close. Plus the quality was beyond poor. What kind of case do you guys carry your ES-guitars in?

    Replacement selector switch for ES135?

I'll try one of those. Huge thanks, Paladin!

    Replacement selector switch for ES135?

I have ?08 ES135 with a pickup selector switch that's been acting up a lot lately. Well not lately, really - the switch was probably half dead on arrival. I bought this guitar new (from a trusted dealer) and I've had the rhythm PU dropping out every now and then right from day one. I tried to...

Very nice. Does this one have a nitro topcoat like LS145/LS165?

Killer player. I have to admit he's one of the main reasons I got my ES135.

I've read that too. I'm really curious where this information comes from.

    WTB: Tokai LS145s / LS160s

    Sorry, I couldn't find the 160s you mentioned. I found a new LS95s for $1300 though. Linky?

    WTB: Tokai LS145s / LS160s

I've figured I need a goldtop with P90:s. Looking for a pre-owned LS145s or LS160s. I know there are new available but with the prices being pretty much the same as a used R6 - well... Anyone?

    "Crafted in Japan" label confusion

Thanks. Yeah, the red one was a '93-'94. Strange thing is that according to conventional serial number wisdom there were no CIJs until 1997, only MIJ. However, that doesn't seem to be entirely true; that red strat is not the first CIJ with a pre-'97 serial I have seen. Which brings me back to...

    "Crafted in Japan" label confusion

(I posted the below over at TGP, but didn't get any replies. Hopefully there are more MIJ/CIJ Fender experts here.) I've noticed that the some CIJ Fenders have the words "Crafted in Japan" written in a elegant, handwriting-esque kind of style. It's very different from the more common font used...

    Slumming with the EG450...

I got me what seems to be one of those dreaded low-end Grecos, a EG450 Super Real. It has fair share of wear and dings, but man... this is a pretty good guitar. It's surprisingly well put together, has a very nice top (must be a sister to this one), a rosewood fingerboard that looks waaaay...

Super Real and Super Power logos

Thanks Otto, I'm afraid your info added to my confusion though. :) Chambered body on a Super Real? Is that a four digit model? Flame top (EGF)?

Super Real and Super Power logos

I have some difficulties understanding how the names Super Real and Super Power relates to specific models (EGF, EG etc) from '80 and '81. Did some Super Power models come with the headstock logo ("Super Power MODEL") and some didn't? Also, did some Super Power guitars (based on specs and...
