Bacchus "Beginning of the New Tradition"

Bacchus "Beginning of the New Tradition"

So basically you have nothing concrete to prove one way or another that guitar is what you say it might be other than you are some kind of Jedi master and can "feel" what it is. It sounds more like you are exactly the kind of internet bullshitter that you say you laugh at. Well how is anyone...

Bacchus "Beginning of the New Tradition"

So does it look like an ebony board to you or something else ?? I only have 2 bacchus and well I never cared much to know the model numbers. To me one is a batwing sg and the other is a DC junior. I enjoy learning about things of course. What would be a give away for a higher model that we could...

Bacchus "Beginning of the New Tradition"

What would those attributes be ?? There are some pictures but I wouldnt call them the greatest to base much on really myself. Its black so you cannot see how many pieces the guitar is at all. The board looks ebony but again I couldnt say it is for sure. I could make some of my rosewood boards...

Bacchus "Beginning of the New Tradition"

Is it the non serial ebony p90 deal ?? I personally think these non serial bacchus should be called something else since they sem to have different specs to the ones that later got serial numbers. The starter series?? Lol who knows. They all seem to be called the vintage series though. Bacchus...

Reverb sighting - can anybody provide info on this Goldstar strat? Seems to be a little off?

Well im not 100% sure what the lowest model number for those years would be.. But those tuners were used on tge very lowest end ones so maybe st30s -40 ??that would mean the hardware and block etc would also be lower grade, ceramic pups if original etc. Sorry i dont know everything about these...

Reverb sighting - can anybody provide info on this Goldstar strat? Seems to be a little off?

Those tuners at the very least spell lowest end model. Its hard to see the neckplate on my little tablet. I cant see the bridge or anything else either. Id be very wary of this one, ask for internal shots and close ups of the bridge. It could be a partscaster.

1980 Love Rock LS50 with Dimarzios?

I would be surprised if they were the original pups since they are not still in the guitar, a lot can happen in 40 years. I'd say it's a bonus you got some old Dimarzios included in the sale. I'm not overly familiar with the inkies mind you, or old dimarzios but as far as I know they only made...

1980 Love Rock LS50 with Dimarzios?

Does it still have a circuit board for the electronics ? Many swap those out and if they don't like the pups swap them out to while they are at it. My 81 ls120 has Dimarzio pups of some kind. Double cream.

    1981 LS60 v. 1981 LC60 - What was Tokai Thinking?

I'm pretty sure they did what they did in '81 to give us guitar nerds something to talk about in 2020... Or maybe it was marketing.

    WTB Set of DryZ’s

If you can find a set for $1000 i'd snap them up quick. I haven't seen any sell for that price in a long time. Good luck bud.

Newly bought Custom Edition Tokai. ID please.

I agree with mdvineng. I don't think the body is likely Tokai. The neck looks to be a Tokai with added string tree as mentioned and swapped out tuners. That board needs some conditioning with some lemon oil too.

    Broken E-string

If you were wailing so hard that you broke the thick E string then i'm betting the rest are fairly dead. When you get your new strings i would replace all of them, but i'd save the remaining 5 just in case you break another. Buy more than one pack of strings, the odds of breaking a string go...

    What model is this SG

Real Korean Tokai Love Rocks/gibson clones have no serial number. Yours is a real Made in China Tokai for the UK and other export places where the Gibson open book headstock is not allowed. The serial numbers font and style have changed for the Chinese ones over the years.
