Hi just thought I would chip in with the serial number on my l/h goldstar from 1984. It's 19539 no letters solid red and maple neck,never had the neck off to look at the codes! There are photo's of it on the forum somewhere.

Hi guys, just checked my lefty 84 goldstar, a 50's copy it has a maple neck, round string tree, 5 digit serial number (no L at the beginning) and deluxe stamped tuners.That strat looks pretty new to me. :roll:

My coffee table only weights 9 1/2lbs :D :D

My LS210 2007 model is only 8lbs! One piece solid mahogany back and sounds as sweet as a nut. :D

I bought one for my son,10 years old,to learn on.It's a great guitar with a lovely tone,although the main reason we bought it was it is very light at only 6lbs...oh and it's black....oh yeah and it's got lights around the knobs that he thinks is the best thing.Anything to get him interested in...

I think you can get graduated necks.The fret board is 'normal' until the 7th or 8th fret and then the scallops get deeper the further up the neck you go, so you can still play chords as usual (badly in my case) :D

Hi Joe I'm picking it up on Saturday, it's having the full PLEK treatment as I wanted the action as low as it would go. I think it's the only Plek station in Europe,at Charlie Chandler's in Kingston. I had my goldstar done there a few month's ago as that had been re-fretted pretty badly, but...
