Not to hijack your thread, but I've been offered a used 125 SEB for ?450... although I was shooting for a 150. How much of a difference in quality will there be? (as a new ls150 is ?800). Thanks very much. James

I wouldn't route it. Personally, I'd get a good strap (amazing the difference this makes), sell it and get a lighter guitar. There's always weight training, but I doubt a heavy Les Paul is sufficient motivation for you :P

In the new range, the lc/ls 65+ are japanese made. As I'm aware, the higher models start at around the 135, right through to the ls320. However, these numbers are the retail price in thousands of Yen, so relatively, an ls150 from 20 years ago is equivalent to an ls320 of today. I don't have...

They're all pretty **** nice guitars. May also be worth looking at a love rock II, as it's got 24 frets, and slightly better access, 1 piece maple top and 1 piece back and coil tap for the same price. Also has a much faster neck. I'm not promoting it, as I actually prefer the traditional Les...
