    Just put the guitar in to the paintshop for refinishing, so fingers crossed it comes back the way i want it as it took some time to match the LPB paint. Pictures soon, i hope? R. :roll:

    The body markings are similar to my goldie but i dont know if thats relevant. The body marking seem shrouded in mystery apart from the referencs on them for colour ie LB= lake blue, MB met blue and so on like on yours is FO= fiesta orange, i thhink?     The plate, pots and switch all look authentic enough, so does the body, but i dont think the pick ups are, especially with the stripy wiring. Also there are no markings on the pick ups! Never seen that, anyone? R.

    Sorry meant to say a TST60 was actually $570 dollars in 1983, and also my 1983 white goldstar had a script logo. R.

    Mine is the maple neck with 8 hole single ply scratchplate. s/n 19622 (57). I would swap it for a white goldy with a rosewood neck simply because i bought one new in 83 when i was but a boy. Ah, takes me back, might even get the old band together again :wink: ?.

    Has the body been refinished at some point maybe? I have stripped a few tokais and you dont normally see that much paint in the neck pocket. Very nice guitar, hope my lpb goldy looks as good. R.
