Hunting for Burny RLG-80 'Super Grade' Models

Hi MIJ, I found another Burny which looks like it has not been played in years. There seems to be so much confusion regarding model numbers ect. I'd pop it up on the forum to ask if anyone knows what model/year it is. It has a 2 piece solid top and either 2 or 3 piece back which would seem to...

    fernandes burny olds strat copy

Luis, Thanks for the information :D I pulled the pickups out and neck off but did not find any markings on it. It looks like a 50's Strat with 2 tone sunburst and the small oval plug on trussrod. It has a pretty Chunky neck and 3 way switch but also a 11 hole single ply pickguard. Not sure...

Looky What I got! (Burny SG)

Congrats, great looking guitar. I have a RGL-90 Lp with VH-1's grey wires and love em to death. Mine are pretty microphonic at high gain even though I wax potted them but for rock to blues they are super sweet with awesome tone. Well done and a nice score. cheers

    Orville by Gibson Catalogue Information

Yep mine has a 3 screw cover so it must be terada? From the serial no it is a 93 model. For the money I paid it was a stone cold bargain compared to a usa version. I had a room mate in college that had a 60's USA j50 and it had a much different pick guard with kind of points coming off of it and...

    Burny LP model numbers

Yea, I love my Burny. I have never had the chance to play a Tokai but I can't imagine that they are a whole lot better than this. I have always been a Tele/Strat guy but when I picked this up and played it and it was under $1000 AU it blew me away. I have read a lot about poly vs nitro finish...

    Orville by Gibson Catalogue Information

Hey there, It seems everyone is well into the OBG LPs but I have an OBG J-45 acoustic and am having a heck of a time finding anything out about it. I know it has a solid top but no idea about the back and sides. Serial no is inked on headstock and is G30xxxx. Do any of your catalogs have any...

Thanks for the reply MIJVintage, I am real new to this so here goes with images. Like I said, It is a heavy beast but really sings. I was wondering if all Burny LPs are SUPER GRADE? They don't seem to be as well regarded as Grecos on this forum but a friend of mine has a Greco SUPER POWER...

    Burny LP model numbers

Hi there, this is my first post and I am wondering [ anyone out there knows what the differences between model numbers on Burny Les Pauls is? I know that as the number increases it is a higher end guitar, but how can you tell the difference between a FLG 50 and a FLG 70? I have a Supergrade late...
