I take it from the silence that the Silver Star,circa 1984, has no defining features at all !! There must be something,surely, that can be checked to make sure things are original. i.e. PUP stamps, saddles types, etc. Thanks.

Thanks for that. I have enquired at a shop which stocks Tokai's but they have not got back to me. I also found a shop which sells Fender Whammy bars which says fits 'most' fender strat so may give that a go if I cannot source a Tokai bar.Cheers.
