I will post if I have better pics. No you can not see the flame throught the black stain, but you can clearly see the flames inside the F-holes where the wood is not finished. You can notice the flame also in the pic i took for you showing the ES-150 sticker.

3 Piece Top points straight to LS50 Maybe someone carved 80 on the fingerboard to make it look like LS80. Thing smells fishy! Someone with sharper eyes will judge the rest, I guess.

2 days ago I got my hands on my first LS80. It is Old Sunburst in very good/near mint condition...frets have plenty of meat... just very few marks, last fret marked "80" ...nibs... etc ...all well! It feels very nice to play (haven't had the time to change strings plus I' ve cut my left index...

Had to update since I got sheptone tribute PAFs in there... and it became just superb! I love the sound of the LS now (was falling behind when i installed Sheptone HSP90 in my 07 LC185)... Now its back on track! LS 60 here with some amateur photo editing for fun!
