Original JB80 or JB120 neck joint is not as wide as neck pocket, slightly narrower. Hope this helps. I don't think multi piece body is correct.

I got both slab board and veneer board jazz sound fretless, and i remember my TJB70 is slab board, the other one has no number sticker, i thought it might be JB85. You could check 1981 catalog, JB85 has veneer board.

slab board should be 70 i guess.
