Received it- its a mystery. On the neck heel there are faint imprints in laquer of the small holes (not screws) which dont matsch exactly. On the other hand there are clearly pink color prints at the neck that match the pink laquer in the neck pocket.... So my conclusion is nwck and body have...

hmm, I have a Revival RST-50 (70s model). Should be more lowend model from price point, but it has top notch build quality, birs eye maple neck, fret edges are bot visible (litte pieces of wood glued at edge of neck)... Would say built quality is better as on most vintage Tokais, JVs. Cant see...

if solid top it indicates a high end model.. but not neccessarily a ls420 Dont know exactly at which price point (model number) they started with a solid top..think around "Ls320" Would be good to check a 2017 catalog for this.

Do you have a pic of the cavities or did the seller say solid top?

Reborn old logos are also made for some countries- says nothing about he model. Its a "copy" of the old Reborn models in the 80s (just dfifferent logo).I dont know the exact specs of a LS420. But even if I would its not safe that it has these specs... I would at least make sure its a solid top...

Hi, those headstock shapes are made for some countries like uk for copy restricitions... Has nothing to do with the model number. Anyway photos dont give any proof for or against an LS420....Do I see fret nibs? That could be a hint for an top/high end level model like LS420... But really...

Thanks for participation in this! Took the gamble an bought it. For me it its not very likely the neck has been changed. Took a closer look and even the colorprints on neck and neck pocket seems to be matching... Waht I could think of is that it is a kind of custom order maybe... Could explain...

Other pot is a noble as well and on another pic I have its easy to tell that it does not have a code in in control cavity

Body has these holes in the neck pocket- look at the pics please. So for me its clearly a Tokai body...

Have pics of the control cavity- no code has noble pots with no usable pot codes like other breezys

No dont have the body code but that would help a lot imgo either as body and neck code do not have to match afaik.. the one on the faber site had no skunk stripe and likely a maple lam board on maple neck

Thanks for answer- I am referring to vintage ones (80s) only. Particular to this Interested to buy it and seller says all original - has L+5digit serial as well.. I know old catalogs say laminated maple board and old ones seem to have no skunk stripe therefore.... New ones seem to have one piece...

Yes, but other countries like Tokai switzerland, etc. also Dont know it this one is initially from Tokai Germany...
