Had to order my Firebird from England.

I'm considering a left-handed LP custom type guitar. I refuse to spend $2000 for a ragged oldy, but mouldy Gibson. Epi's are alder. Can you recommend a Tokai with a mahogany body and neck. I have a son who's working in Japan who could ship one to me.

I've heard good things about Burny's and that one is a beauty.

I know you're right. I'm reasonably sane & emotionally healthy and all that, but when it comes to guitars and rifles, I hate being a southpaw. Hell, I've seen real Gibson Firebirds go for what I had to pay for what I paid for my Tokai. All because of a tiny genetic quirk.

Whitehall, I know of a guy that owns a left-handed Gibson Firebird. If you are interested, I'll try to recall where the photos are so you can see one. Talk about the "holy Grail."

Thanks for the measurement. It looks like mine is right after all. I have a photo at home of a Greco that really looks as if it's neck-thru. I'll send it out to you when I get home. It might have a seam that didn't show up in the picture. Thanks again for the measurement.
