Thanks Sigmania. The second pic is from online and yes, it’s a ‘78 OW. The one I posted is from an ‘80 with serial number on plate. Possible that it’s an early ‘80 Springy with early code? Or earlier neck on a slightly later body/plate… Something I’d be able to live with…

Anyone have single number stamps on their Springy (or Breezy) neck end? Wondering as a Springy is available (supposedly a ST-80), but it only has a single digit stamp on the neck end. It does look like the typical Tokai printed/stamped code, just curious why it wouldn't have more numbers and...

Does anyone have one of these (or has had or played one) and could give an honest opinion? This one is for sale not too far from me, the sticker doesn't have a J, but this is clearly a Jeff Beck model, apparently a 1979 and stock. Just wondering about the pickups and their quality and also...

I fear as much. Might be a Goldstar body, I found a few that had that same lack of routing in the bridge pickup area. Was wondering if there'd be some cross-over between routing styles between the two models but assuming that's unlikely.

I had thought it might be the case, but the plate doesn't seem like a narrow one :(

Thanks Sigmania, there are definitely a few small mods/replacements which is fine but if the body is not original that's a pretty big deal. I did find a few Springys online that had the same control cavity shape that's missing that extra little lip to catch a pickguard screw. Is that a 50's and...

Don't mind the black pickguard backing, it's a replacement and original white 3-ply guard is included
