That GT was pretty sweet looking. I'm in Austin - 200 miles south of Dallas.

    Instrument Insurance

When I had renters insurance back in the early 90's I may a claim. Person above us had a water heater break which flooded my apartment. I had pedals under water. Insurance paid without questions. Today though our deductible is really high. Almost all my stuff would need to be damaged or stolen.

    Instrument Insurance

I am pretty sure I used music pro insurance.

    Instrument Insurance

In the US your homeowners or renters insurance covers your gear. However when I was gigging all the band equipment, my guitars and amps were on a separate policy with a company that specialized in musicians insurance. Can't remember the name.

    Tokai Guitars in the US

In the 80's Robin Guitars was a big importer of Tokai's. The early Robin's were built in the same factory. Growing up in Houston and hanging out at the retails store Rockin Robin there were always a bunch of Tokai's which is where I learned about them. The retail was the same as the guitar...

    Dusty Hill has passed

Netflix has a ZZ Top documentary that is really excellent. Watch it if you get a chance. https://www.netflix.com/title/81212488 I had completely forgotten about the World Wide Texas Tour with all the animals on stage.

Maybe this is to honor the already booked tour dates but you're probably right about Billy G

    Black Paisley finish

I've got a Paisley Love Rock that might be a 2002 model. Looks awesome, it's pink not black. Sounds great, not as good as my '78 GT Love Rock but that guitar is amazing in every way possible but weight.

    Vintage cars from Japan anyone?

Love 914's!!!! They are so much fun to drive, weight almost nothing. My wife has one :D

    Vintage cars from Japan anyone?

The only downside to the 240Z's were the drum brakes in the back. When I was vintage racing my 911 with the 130HP engine the 240's would kill me on the straights but the 911 corners a little better and I could go much deeper into the corners due to disc brakes on all 4 corners. Sometimes you...

    Vintage cars from Japan anyone?

OK how did I miss this thread!!! The first car I ever bought was an '81 Datsun 280ZX. Would love to have a 240 retro modded with a Infiniti 3.7. Big fan of the older Datsun's.
