    SEB construction "Sound Effect Body"

Yeah, that's me who's selling the Tokai guitars here and in Canada. I don't post here that often because i don't want to use the forum for sales. But I've always been a huge fan of Tokai guitars and really like the family who owns the company.

    New Tokai XD200 Guitar Model

I recently found out about a relatively new model from Tokai, the XD200. I just got an email from Tokai last week about it, with some pics. I'm still trying to figure out how to post pics here directly, but in the meantime I'll post some links to the pics...

    Tokai TTE 50

I can confirm that Tokai has been using Gotoh pickups on most of their guitars lately. There may be a few other Japanese pickup makers involved, but I know Tokai uses many Gotoh components. Fender Japan uses some of the same Gotoh parts too, although Fender has been sourcing parts from outside...

    ATE 98 vs ATE 90

The way I understand it is the ATE90 is available in these colors and uses an alder body… Sunburst, Sonic blue, Candy apple red, Lake Placid blue and Ocean turquoise. The ATE98 uses an ash body and is available in vintage natural and blonde finishes.

    Tokai new catalog Vol.29

I can order any of these models direct from the factory for sale in the USA, in case anyone is interested. I started selling new Tokai guitars again here in the states, but I don't want to ruin my welcome by posting links and crap like that. But I can also answer any questions about these...

    Tokai Factory Tour

Well, connecting with the Japanese guitar makers wasn't easy. You have to spend a lot of time gaining trust and making these connections. I was at Tokai in 2013 and again in 2015. They consolidated the factory and stopped making the Cat's Eyes acoustic guitars there. Back in 2013, there was...

    Tokai Factory Tour

Hey all, I just joined the forum here and wanted to share a link about my visits to the Tokai factory. I figured this would be the place where it would get some love! Ha. Anyway, I'm a big fan of Japanese guitars and Tokai is just such a nice company and owned by nice people. Actually the...
