That guitar was made in 1980. D10 stands for 10 year anniversary of the Sigma brand, est 1970. :wink:

Amazing. I have guitar333's guitar now. Seems to be a very rare Sigma S2000. It came from Canada and I was told it was taken to trade shows for years. As far as I know it was a one off. Nice discussion! I just joined the forum. I've been a Sigma nut for years and only recently realized they were built by Tokai. The anniversary guitar above was called the D10 for the 10 year anniversary of the company. I believe it was also the last of the solid back & side builds. Honduran mahogany...

I have a Sigma Martin (Tokai built) S2000 prototype that looks exactly like an old Cat's Eye CE2500.

Likely built around 1980.

Would love to know more if there are any Sigma experts out there.
