That neck looks right, also it looks like the head of the adjustment screw has been sheared off - post some pics of the loose bits.

I have an '84 TSG 50, the black one with the harmonica bridge and the headstock looks very different to yours and identical to LP's from the same year... I'm thinking maybe it was a very late 84 dimple model and the dimple has been removed? Also interesting that it has FEB, not sure if 60 model LP's...

I have a couple of 1984 TST 60’s one with a maple board and one rosewood, both have E pups, with regard to pricing I can tell you I have a TST 50 bought new in Toronto at Kalua Music in 1984 and it was $299.00 CAD. with the case.

For reference here's my early '80s RLG90 lacquer finish with original VH1's - Nickel backplate with 4 brass screws, braided wire, zebra bobbin's. They're fantastic pickups https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/1280x1024q90/924/3KBcap.jpg https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/1280x1024q90/922/gUMLsH.jpg ht...

Probably is Alder because it's a solid color but no way to know for sure from those pictures, you're going to have to open it up and shoot some.

some Tokais from around the 80's had no serial number on the neck plate, see example http://www.tokaiforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=23118&start=15 http://www.tokaiforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=23415&highlight=serial+number Those would be very early Springy's with small neck plates not later Goldstars. AFAIK...

I have an 84 LS50 and 84 TST80 both with that made in Japan sticker, the LS50 has it across the top of the headstock above the 50 sticker, the TST80 has it in the same place as that Daphne Strat, below the 80 sticker at the bottom of the heel - so the MIJ sticker as I'm sure others will tell us, is ...

well, as stated previously, if Tokai Gakki was under the impression that a two piece neck was actually the way to go then we would have seen that on LS models for the past ~40 years, but that was not the case don't know how Springy's, Greco LP's, Norlin Gibsons, or Super Real have anything to do wi...

First difference is that as I mentioned, two piece is more labor intensive and for the reasons noted that extra cannot always be offset by material savings. The other difference is that as Tokai and others in Japan lead up to the glory days of 78 to 84, they tried to make replicas as closel as possi...
