My local guitar shop have started to stock Tokai both Japanese and China made ones .

The guy who runs the place really rates the guitars but says it's a nightmare dealing with them. He was invoiced 4 times before they got that right and he'd had the stock 2 months previous

The local guitar shop have a hew jap tokais for sale

LS110 GT for £999 is that about the right price ?

and they have a violin finish for £1195 but not sure what model that is

Any opinons on the above

i'll take a punt and say Korean
I have a korean one but no serial number
The chinky ones i have seen have a greenish tint to the headstock logo and the numbers begin with CH
but my knowledge is very limited

local guitar shop where i live - called in saturday and they have started to stock tokai. Not sure what model it was but they had a brand new Love Rock MIJ Gold Top for £999 ( 2 peice back) it's the first time i have been near a MIJ model , I had a Korean one . All i can say is WOW , it felt fantast...

i had a korean model it was inked on the back of the headstock "made in korea" no serial number and the pick up cavities were not sprayed black


chinese have a sreial number and a sticker that says made in china which always goes missing

tuner help needed

i am looking for a tuner that will display Hz

standard pitch is 440Hz and for ac/dc some songs are 428 Hz or thereabouts

so i am looking for a tuner that either the Hz for pitch is variable or one that displays the Hz reading
