I had the problem too earlier this week, but no longer. Jong-Un was probably just flexing his muscles a bit.

I don't post NGDs much and this is more a New Purchase Day, but I made the plunge too, via a friend in Japan. Not sure from when this is, but it looks like an early one with some nice wear on it. 1980s if I have to guess. Anyone out there with ideas how to date these? Once I get it I'll post some mo...

There's a thread somewhere on MLP that has a bunch of resistance readings of Dr-Zs, and it varies from the high 6k to maybe 8.2k. So assuming consistent wire, that's a huge difference too. I've had 5 sets so far and only one struck me as on the bright side.

:o So what now? We're all supposed to feel humbled and Koiz can feel vindicated? I hate to sound pious, but since the seller is dragging this up again: this was never about the price but integrity, knowing you made a mistake but digging your heels in instead of a simple apology and explanation and e...

That's a damn nice guitar, for a nice price. If I wasn't flooded I'd get it.

If it's your only LP and you gig out a lot, then I'd want something light, like around 3.5kg. But if you have several and you play it at home, who cares? Some of my favorite ones are 4.6-4.7kg. I would never have bought them if I knew the weight, but now that I have them I don't want to sell them. A...

Given the OP's forum name, I thought it was at least as likely he's Indonesian. Not that it has anything to do with anything. :)

+1 to the above post. It could have been an honest mistake at first, but the deflection and abuse hurled at the buyer is totally out of line. Belittling comments about the buyer only knowing three chords, bringing in the Chinese thing, bragging about his pro player guitar customer in the US, Samurai...

You should still try them some time, I'm sure a set will turn up on YJ. I have some too, but not selling. :)
