As much as you may want to, I wouldn't recommend you make love to your Tokai. This is where a wife comes in handy.

You may also wish to consider the fact that a Tokai can't cook or clean (though I shouldn't make assumptions about the Mrs).

Tokai changes its model numbers each year to correspond with the inflationary increase. So your LS75Q was so called because it was a Les Paul style, with a retail price of 75,000YEN and had a quilt top. That same model spec today is called an LS100Q (100,000YEN). Some retailers still sell it as an L...

Hi rmarchetti81. leadguitar_323 provides the explanation as to why it can be identified as one of the Canadian fake Tokai?s. The giveaway is the headstock shape and inlays, which aren?t a feature of the Tokai PRS copies, but is of the Dillion equivalent. I think you?ve probably worked this out by no...

All I know is that I love the neck profile of my Tokai LS. I have small hands but find a chunkier neck easier to play for some reason, perhaps because I mainly played acoustic for the first couple of years. The neck is sizeable without being too thick. If I play with a thinner neck I end up clamping...

Isn't that simply because the pots have been changed and they have been removed? Do you mean by markers the metal bits?

I purchased a hardcase with my LS85F from Richtone. I don't belong to a band (don't have the time in all honesty, maybe one day) and so my guitar lives at home. I did buy it just in case (groan!) I ever did travel as the ?50 for the case seemed very reasonable. Anyway I'm now back and forth between ...

Don't higher end models have a one piece neck? That's a question not a fact, as I'm reading current specs and this could have differed to an older Tokai.

It does look like it's probably an LS-70F model, which is a mid range Tokai Love Rock but nonetheless bloody brilliant.

Wait until the person who buys it comes on here and starts asking what they've got

Can't believe the reserve has been set high but it's an accurate enough description so the seller has lucked out.

My leather strap seems snug enough not to cause any problems, so much so that it's bloody difficult to put the thing on and take it off the guitar. The strap button would have to come off for any harm to be done, so I've never bothered with strap locks. I did have a Dunlop plastic strap lock soemwhe...
