they are the continuity of the Orville but a few things bug me: -for that price you should expect a nitro finish and some Gibson pick up. .... Hmmmm ... i prefer a poly finish (more road-ready), and there are some Gibson-pickups i really dislike (e.g. T500). I think for that price these LQs seem qu...

And if they sound as good and play as good as my two Burnys, they are rather good instruments ;). If the price is o.k., g...

Very nice Paula, in deed.
May I ask how much you paid for this beauty?
And what about does it cost to have the lacquer damage repaired?

See you

..... A used one in good playable condition..... maybe around 1100 to 1300 euros...... I'd say even more for a 2000s in good or very good condition. Maybe that will change with the low price of the Classics and Standard Faded ... but I don't know and don't care too much. I prefer japanese LP guitar...

I guess it is from 1989 to 1994. No high grade features (3-piece back, veneer top), but a rather good ...

Read above.

See my criticism as a chance for improvement, not as a reason to pout :)

Like spec's, models, model years, colours, etc, etc. i don't think there is such a site, unfortunately. Some infos are here http://www.japanguitars.co.uk/Page%201%20history.html and here http://www.ja...
