the step up from 1200 to 1800 = going from a veneer top on the 1200 to a solid top on the 1800

that's what 60,000 yen MSRP extra :-? got you in 1980, a solid top ............ crazy .........

MIJ-VINTAGE " run far away" run far away from what ? I think its a 1981, and if it is a 1991, its still a great guitar ! As a matter of fact, ONLY the HIGHER-END ($1000 models ) in 1991 had F-E-B. In the least, in the space of two listings the guitar has had three sets of pickups aka too suspicious...

I would hope that guitars are made for playing but sadly, that is not the case, as collecting has taken a higher place on the totem pole over playing, for many

other wise there would be a few $300 late '50s Lesters around ............
