I voted for a LP Jr, but this'd be really nice too!

I'd love to see a LP Jr (Spcl?) double cut w/ P-90's

or a fat Jazz box w/ 2 P-90's (rockabilly-esque!)

I dropped in a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a Pearly Gates in the neck. Gotoh Tune-O-Matic and tailpiece came with it.

I actaully don't feel thats it's too bad price wise.
I dunno, the guy wants $2K for it...just seems a bit high to me. But I'm no expert on Tokais. My first Tokai Love Rock should be here any day.

I'm going to be real careful on my personal preference in pickups after that thrashing I took on LPF- Yeah, that was ugly... but no worse than some of the thrashings I've taken on the Fender Forum talking about the crap that Corona has been turning out for years. You think the LPF is snobby? The FF...

I don't think that the covers affect the impedence that much. I do think they affect the tone. I'l say that it is niether a positive or negative affect, but your pups will sound different. It's up to you and your ears to determine weather you like it or not.

I use the non-curved (flat) pup surrounds on my Les Paul. When I screw them down, they conform to the contour of the guitar just fine.

CRL switches are generally considred to be amongst the best. Oak-Grigsby is another one.

Tokai finish?

Hi, I've got a 1999 LS70 on its way to me, and I was wondering if any of you guys know if it would have a nitro finish or a poly finish?

Thanks as always. You guys are a great help!

Fretting out is the next worse step after fret buzz. You need either a good set up, your frets dressed, or both.

Going along with this, I'd love to have a fat, hollow body single cutaway w/ 2 dog-ear P-90's.
