I wanted a Gibson ES335 so I went looking for one. After a very short while it became apparent to me that I could not afford the 2Kplus to buy one in Ireland. What alternatives were there? There's Tokai so I found this site and started reading about them. Ordered an ES100 and was just blown away wit...

Sorry for the delay on the answer Deadman but I can no longer access this forum from work! :(

I'd say a tad over ?600. Things are more expensive here in Ireland. Make me an offer though and we will see if we can agree.

FS: ES100

My 2005 ES100 is up for sale. Its cherry red and there is not a mark on it. It has never been gigged or even left my house. I have a need for a new amp and this baby will fund it. There are acouple of pictures of it here: http://homepage.mac.com/ste_mooney/PhotoAlbum6.html I have no case either but ...

Elixir .10 - .46. Love the feel of these strings.

Try them Deadman. You mentioned you like Funk. These strings allow you to slide gracefully all over the neck and should work for funk!

They do cost a bit more than your avarage strings but do last a lot longer.

I have a 2005 ES100 in Cherry Red that I would part with for the right price. I bought it from a dealer in Ireland so I probably paid over the odds. There is no case however. The guitar is absolutly spotless as I take real good care of my babies. I don't think there is one mark on it. I paid ?1160 f...

I don't like the Serial number at the top back of the headstock. My ES 100 doesn't have a Serial number on the headstock. Only "Made in Japan"

If it is genuine then it does seem like a good price considering the pickup upgrades and all the other unnecessary stuff.

I have two guitars with Ebony fingerboards and I use LemOil on them 3 or 4 times a year. I would use the LemOil to clean the fretbaord then wipe off the excess and let it dry overnight. Restring the next day and its a pleasure to play. I have not noticed any adverse reactions to it. I haven't used i...
