LS50

Hi Bolero, glad you got it in good nick after all. Hope it sounds as good as the one I have - sorry if that sounds a bit arrogant but these pickups really are good! What amp do you have and what style(s) do you play?If its Page, Kossoff and early Clapton these things nail it imho. :D Hi Ian - thanks ...

Amps.

Being unable to find an 18 W mini BB like Ian's (Curse!) I tried a Cornell "Plexi" head and was well pleased. Like the mini BB no frills just a great tone that you can cut down to 5 watts for 'mucking around'. Dosent look as cute though :D . Any photo's Ian - with the favorite 'paul alongside? Cheer...

Bolero you should check supernouts post of 30-4-2004 on this subject. By the way Ian - do you know if the LS50's have the lower headstock pitch and how does t...

LS60

Hello there Bolero, your LS60 looks good - I hope it's OK when you get it. I have a 1980 LS50 and it has the exposed coil pickups but double white bobbins.I'm not sure if they are exactly the same as yours as you have a higher grade guitar. This guitar played beautifully and sounded great acoustical...

Relic.

Thanks Chris and Hans - J. As I thought - a nice guitar indeed! I tried a relic at Andy's in tinpan alley a couple of years ago and it was very good - I wonder if this was the one? I was tempted. It had a pronounced carve to the top. Lucky you! :D
Cheers,
Mike.

Chris, your Tokai wall looks nice - what model is the Sunbust 'Paul and could you post some close-up shots of it?
Cheers,
