When your talking Tokais, you can't really go on model # alone as many people confuse one with another. ES-120s are Japanese made models, I'm kinda doubtfull that the Korean model shares the same model #, you may in fact be looking at a ES-60 or 80. Its the same style as the ES-120 but made in Korea...

Read all my comments again, I don't describe MIKs as second rate. The ones shown in the old catalogs can be considered "second rate" when compared to the latest MIKs brought into Canada.

ian wrote:Hi JSD ? OK thanks ? is that a fact (Canadian distributor ordering bone) ... didn?t know they did that :-? .

Ian.
Yes, he pretty much custom orders all the Tokais he brings in. Thats why we don't see those second rate Korean made models as shown in the old catalogs.

No, you didn't get it from the distributor, distributors don't sell to the public, they only sell them to us dealers, you got it from a dealer.

The Canadian distributor for Tokai orders all the Korean made Love Rocks with a real bone nut, same thing for the PRS body style guitars.

Does anyone know why the price on the Love Rock Deluxe is less than the Love Rock? I would think the 'Deluxe' model would cost more. Just curious. Thanks. Overstock = blowout prices. I don't think the "deluxe" model caught on quite as well as expected. Not everyone liked it. If its something your i...

All very true comments, you realistically can't expect a guitar in the $500 range to be as good as a $2500 guitars but it holds it's own and it just goes to show how inflated that $2500 price tag is.

High quality period, no arguement there. Basically when I stated that its a high quality product "for the money" I'm saying I've seen many guitars in the same price range that pale in comparison to a Korean made Tokai. I've also seen many a guitar at twice the price or more that should just be asham...

Well seeing as I'm the one selling it I'll comment for ya...;) This model along with any other current Korean made model, you will not find in any past or current catalog. The Canadian distributor pretty much custom tailors all his orders and doens't follow any catalog specs. All specs listed on my ...

It is a Korean made guitar, model # NALS-48. Violin finish, flame top, open coil pickups. It is a very common model, very nice but not a limited edition or anything. There is no actuall "Slash" model, he's just given it that name. Let me also add that this e-bay auction does not reflect the actuall ...

#1 is the DLX-2004 model that features all the abalone inlays, not sure if it was all that popular. Some people like it, some hate it. That model is now seen at blow out prices all over the place now. #2 I'm not familiar with, which isn't to say its not available. #3 is one of my favorites. Its was ...

Hey guys, I thought I'd stick my two cents in here. I have it on good authority ;) that the latest Korean Love Rocks are made better than ever in a new smaller factory, you can forget all the old talk about alder bodies, sycamore veneer tops, photo tops and bolt on necks. You won't see any of those ...
