I found at Tokai te 50 for sale. The Tokai letter is block and not the old spaghetti logo. The seller claim it is from 1980. The serie number has 5 digi and no L. The bridge has 5 saddle.

In my opinion, there is a brighter tone and more output in the U?s.
I think this is better, for my taste, and just wondering why the E?s are

okay thanks, So more output in the U, and therefore less noise I assume.
I thought it was the other way around, that the E had more output, and is a better pickup, than the U?s because the E is moun ...

The brand looks to be a custom made model for a Japanese guitar chain...without more pics it's impossible to tell for certain.

REALLY bad news - the guitar is not an ST-80, it is probably an ST-55. From the body code 2=8 MG it left the factory ...

Can you help me.
I have 2 tokai springy sound.
One has the serie nr L 00500 and is a st 80.
I belive it is from 1981

But thet other one I bought (cant remember maybee1978 or 79)
have a nic ...
