This pickup is from my ES158. It is described as "Tokai PAF MK2".
It is a bridge pickup and the resistance is 11.11k. ...

I'm still not sure what pickups are in my ES158 so here's a pic!

It's quite confusing because they are advertised as Gotoh MK2 pafs but there is no "Gotoh" on the pickup just Tokai's own ...

The bracket on the new Tokai pickguard is the same as the old ones. It is the correct depth on the rim of the guitar but it is glued to the new pickguard in the wrong place to align up with ...

Be Bop Deluxe recorded this tune back in the 70's with some blistering lead fills and solos by guitarist Bill Nelson - played on an ES345. No missing that tone.
