Looks like a Tokai build - Tokai were the main manufacturer for Fender Japan from 1997 to 2007 or 2008 or something. This must have been from the hazy time before Tokai officially got the Fender contract in 1996/97 and before Fujigen ended Fender Japan production. There were probably a few companie...

Fender Japan / Tokai SRV Stratocaster

Hi all, I'm hoping to get some information about a Fender Japan SRV style Stratocaster. It's 100% original and has a vintage Fender spaghetti logo on the headstock and N+6 digit serial number (1993-1994) plus "Made in Japan" at the bottom of the neck in a unique font which I haven't seen on an MIJ s...

WTB: Springy or Goldstar Sound Olympic White Body

Hey Fellas,

I'm looking for an Olympic White Springy or Goldstar Sound body.

Preferably 60s style with 3 ply pickguard.

Loaded or just the body is fine.

Anyone got anything, or know someone who does?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it's poly, but I might do the test to be sure. Thanks for the tip.

I also can't find a seam anywhere on the body, so I'm thinking it's a 1 piece. Would it be Japanese Sen Ash?

Thanks for letting me know Suki. Can you tell me the defining feature(s) that make my guitar an ST60?

Please help me identify my Goldstar Sound

Hi Members, I'd love some help identifying my Goldstar Sound! I was told when I purchased it that it was a completely original 1984 ST50, but the more I read the forum, the more confused I become as it seems to have conflicting attributes. Here are the details: - Body is black (poly finish. shiny ri...

WTB: Tokai Springy Sound or Goldstar Sound

Hi Tokai community, I would like to buy a Tokai Springy Sound or Goldstar Sound stratocaster to add to my collection and am happy to pay a really good price. I'm open to all models, colours and styles, but I'd prefer a guitar which is all original and hasn't been routed or anything like that... Plea...
