Hi-res photo of early '80s Springy Sound's pickup wiring?

Just sold my '83 Springy Sound and the buyer wants the original pickups reinstalled in place of the Kinmans. I've got all of the bits, and the Strat scheme is obvious enough, but I want to work from an example - so I can do the best job of following the original wiring routing (no it'll-do-lash-up!)...

Indeed, I bought this one from a dealer (I think it was retrobazar) originally, and I'm pretty sure I paid more than the guy the dealer bought it from. It's how the world works. Hope it's with you soon. Check for how much it's selling now... damn I was looking for one like that. I agree, but we're ...

If you'd prefer to have the guitar reverted back to standard, I have all of the parts and that would be £500 + shipping

It looked like this before the bling:

1983 Tokai Goldstar - with EMG DG-20 Dave Gilmour pickups

This is one I had modded a while ago: * 1983 Goldstar with block 'TOKAI' logo * candy apple red paint - VGC, only minor marks * maple neck - a C-profile, I'd say * upgraded with EMG DG-20 pickup set (battery cleverly accessible via the spring cavity) * all-gold hardware * Hipshot tremsetter in cavit...

I'll try to clarify on the rosewood. I had thought at all of the upper models of the time were brazilian.

villager - CITES may make shipping to you tricky. I've not shipped outside of the UK for years, and everywhere I look, it's a nightmare!

SOLD 1981 Tokai Breezy Sound - TE-80

Bought in the early 2000s direct from Japan, this see-through blonde is the oldest Tokai I have left. It's gorgeous, but the number of times I pick up a Tele is so infrequent, that it's a waste to have it sitting doing nothing. https://i.imgur.com/ZHTP5Ti.jpg Spec - as far as I know - is: Sen (ash) ...

I know that I'm way out of touch on the work you guys have done with serial numbers, but as you asked... In the early days here, before faking Tokais became worthwhile, there seemed to be evidence only of a single run of numbers, where the leading digit changed with each year, but the other digits r...

Well, the LS400 is bought, and being made ready for the road trip. It's so much car for so little cash: http://thumbsnap.com/s/5KfCXkdM.jpg It's a barge, for sure, but it's super quiet and that engine is so smooth. I can hardly hear it (although that's a bit of a shame, because it's a V8). Interior ...

Yes, while 'geek' has gained a little coolness in recent years (thanks partly to The Big Bang Theory, etc), 'anorak' remains more of a put-down. I've forgotten exactly what word he said, but Peter Green used a similar phrase in the '60s when he was on stage and discussing blokes who were too interes...
