"Done a bit of reading not sure what the difference is between a 120 and a 130?" IIRC, there isn't anything technicaly different between the two models except the price. The numbers represent the selling price in thousand yen (120,000 vs 130,000). When the model increased in cost Tokai changed the m...

I guess I am fine with the glue or filler or whatever.. as long as its not like human dirt. Lol. Do you guys think it is a fair price? $780 with free shipping seems ok to me. But will I have to pay additional taxes to ship it to the US? Hey Blade the seller indicated he/she will list the guitar as ...

Very easy to identify as Tokai NEVER used that headstock Logo. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is definitely not a Tokai. I must add that th...

Big thanks to Innadaze and Japanstrat. Innadaze on the few models you have with the circuit board HB pickups would you say that the tonal quality is similar to the current make 57 Gibson HB? Do you like the circuit board PU? From Innadaze's description between a reissue ObG versus a standard ObG, I ...

Thanks japanstrat. Do any of you have any input on the circuit board pickups? I never heard of this type of pickup before, and I am wondering what are your thoughts of this pickup. So I know that this guitar was made in the Terrada factory, but do you see anything good or bad about this specific gui...

Can anyone give me their advice on this ObG 335? This is a different guitar from the original posting. Overall it looks pretty good and no reserve price. I am not familiar with this seller.

Thanks

MIJvintage: Thanks for the input. I looked up on the web, but couldn't find what the abbreviation AFA meant. Please clarify. I tend to agree with what you wrote. I am very curious as to why the veneer was separating. Aslo the significant pitting on the HW. I am wondering if this is the original HW b...

Hey JohnA:

"OBG reissues are top flight guitars.."

Is this a typo about the reissue? Was there a reissue of a ObG?
