The rings are not the originals which were broken, but these new ones are the same exact color.

I think that the bobbins colors are the original colors, they are uniform all around.

I had to polish them a little as they were dirty: no color change

white and cream zebra eg500 pickups

I've just received a 1980 EG500

The pickups are supposed to be U1000 and have ceramic magnets (my super 70 ones are all alnico). They look stock, solderings untouched
Maxon code 200311

But the weird is the zebra: white an cream. I've never seen these bobbin colors mixed before.

May be the 380 was bolt on, but not the 450 (plain) and 480 (flamed) which were set neck semi hollow top, as is my '80 EG480
