Re: Silver Star dating/model help

HI, I see you live in Toronto as well. I see that somebody scratched off the Tokai logo. Unfortunately that's what some people used to do back in the early days when they discovered Tokais. I'm afraid I can't give you any info about the guitar but there are lots of knowledgeable people here who can....

I thought the same thing. I didn't ask about it as it was noisy in there what with at least a half dozen guitarists or so trying out various guitars at the same time.

Problem is, made in Japan guitars have been too cheap for the last few decades.
I didn't say it was too much, I personally thought it was a little bit on the high side. I'm sure others would be happy to buy it for that price.

Looks nice enough. I agree it's a tad high on the price but i guess it depends on the model. Was it a good show ? I didn't go because I have no $$ for anymore guitars. It was okay. There were some interesting guitars but I found the prices for most guitars, amps and accessories to be a little on th...

From the Toronto Guitar Show

I was at the Toronto Guitar Show yesterday and saw a Goldstar Sound for sale. The price was $950.00 which I personally think is a little on the high side, but then again when I bought my Goldstar Sound back in 1985 I paid $250.00 for it. :) Because this Goldie at the guitar show was in a tight space...

From my inbox

A few years ago I bought an external hardware device for my computer, a Korg Nanopad2 (can be used for inputting drum sounds, patterns, etc.) and included in the box was a card to get Toontracks EZ Drummer 2 for free with a coupon code. I also signed up for e-mail alerts and I've found that Toontrac...

Had to put my cat Chelsea to sleep. We had surgery planned for her next Wednesday, but she didn?t make it. She had a stroke last night and some areas of the brain were damaged, so we decided to put her to sleep. After twenty and a half years of loyal companion- and friendship, she will be missed. M...

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum. I'm just down the road from you in Toronto. :) I also have a white Tokai Springysound. The previous owner replaced the original pickups with Fender Texas Specials but unfortunately also had the pickups re-wired so that they were powered by a 9 volt battery and when ...

Your Maine Coons are gorgeous.... Thanks Marcus and all three of them are quite well behaved. There'll be the odd time where Samson will chase Sassy around but not out of anger. He'll get in the mood sometimes where he wants to play. :D BTW a friend of mine saw your photo of Buster and enjoyed it.

Nice looking cats guys, and I like Marley the dog. FWIW I know that there are some people who consider themselves to be "dog people" or "cat people" but I like all animals. Seeing as how felixcatus changed the topic title I'll post photos of my two other cats. This is my Maine Coon, Samson. He was t...
