Yes, it's Korean made. Cream covers on the back (japanese are black), screw adjustment bridge posts, serial number printed (japanese are stamped into the wood).

I did find that a problem in a Coffin Case I had for the LC. There wasn't enough room in the case below...

No idea on the Gator, but my LC fits beautifully into the CNB case the same as the one in these auctions: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Les-Paul-style-Guitar-Case-Tan-plush-lined_W0QQitemZ140108604991QQihZ004QQcategoryZ20830QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TAN-LES-PAUL-HARD-GUITAR...

Looking at the photos you posted in the announcements section, it is Korean made by Tokai for the US market, if it is not a complete fake (it has been known). It has the US market headstock and horn, plus the korean made bridge (with screw adjustment), korean cream back covers, and the korean three ...

Bear in mind also that I hear a lot of high end Fender owners extolling the virtues of their "nitro" finished guitars, citing the usual "it lets the wood breath" quote. Strange that, considering it is a nitro top coat over polyurethane base, even on the very highest models  Almost all guitars ...

There are manufacturers who use polyurethane in their top custom models, because they claim it's better than nitro. Both are plastic based finishes. I have never been able to hear or feel any difference in either, excepting that polyurethane is harder to mark and dries quicker. Also, people get conf...
