Yeah, using tape to hold pickups in place is so cool :-D

Those Swedish guitars can look a little strange sometimes...

I love that look, though the intonation must be a bit hit and miss! I have a beaten up handbuilt telecaster full of all kinds of gadgetry - I spent three weeks on the finish, decided it was boring and took a sander to it. It's had some knocks on the body now so i'm wondering what to do next with he...

Hey come on now, 'Access to a case of some sort' is a basic fundamental right of a guitar... we're not abusers, after all.

who likes ugly guitars?

I haven't posted for a while, so I thought I'd say hi to everyone again, this time with some pics. There are some really pretty and shiny guitars in this forum, so I'm wondering if there are more freaks like myself who like my guitars to be ugly and grungy? I'll start off, has anyone else got any th...

I just bought a... (starts with G / really horrible)

Haha, no, not a real Gibson, I bought a 'Musoland' Gibson... I knew it'd be horrible, which made it even more hilarious when I got it. When I removed it from its packaging, I would've swore it was a real Gibson. And it went downhill from there lol... it's the small details that give it away. I'm goi...

yeah that looks like a pretty handy amp. plus it's got a lot of tweaking options so it might be what you're looking for! i've always wanted to buy a VC30 / 15 coz to me they are like the cooler looking version of the AC30/15. I've just never plugged into one, hence not buying one. i know i started t...

I just bought a reissue Ampeg Jet II (they are discontinuing them this year) and for a small amp (15watts), it's a tone monster. I think they also make a higher output (50watts?) model as the Super Jet. Great amps. ohh.... discontinuing them, huh? do you know if there will be a replacement amp of a...

Hi there, I run a small recording studio, and I see a fair number of different amps come through. I've seen probably 4 different Hot Rod Devilles over the past couple of years and 3 out of 4 have had badly microphonic tubes which becomes much more pronounced at higher volumes. I don't know what sto...
