I only have an LS70f but the pickups are fine. I would never replace them.

Ah I see. So my LS was not intended for the UK market and may well have been imported from Japan. I know about that time some friends were importing instruments (Fender Japan) from Ishibashi music. Ta!

LS70 Headstock question

My MIJ 03 LS70f is the non pip version. I have seen LS70's on the web earlier and later with the pip modification. Is the any reason or pattern to this?

LC53 Custom shape

Hi can anyone tell me ...Is the body horn pointier on the LC53 than the one on the LC85 or is it just the photographs ive seen. I know the Headstock is different. Anyone have the LC53 and can tellme what its like for a guitar of the price.

If mere mortals like you or me play a relic guitar at our local bar, there will be a few people in the audience who will notice our guitar and wonder if it's old and valuable, assuming that it's a decent and convincing relic Erm... isnt that what I said..ie.. "Lets face it. Only guitar players in t...

When I first started playing guitar I had no money. I had to buy cheap second hand things with bits missing and many a dent or scratch. The very Idea of going on stage with something that looks like its been set on fire then pushed through a Combine harvester is totally repellent to me. BAD Memories...

Hi . Im thinking about picking up one of these. How do they compare to japanese fenders. I can live with the headstock shape. I saw a double bound one somewhere online, but have never tried one. any advice appreciated.

Could be a late 90's Korean Squier with some swapped hardware and phoney decals. I have to say though it looks very nice! if it sounds as good as it looks you have a cool guitar there!. Just get the decals changed. Maybe get your own name on there. Country Boy Telecaster Yup!

The SG custom would probably close at less money, and if you like Les Pauls it would be closer to what you like. I would have it if I could justify another electric!

Mind You, the Ate's are a bit mediocre..........But as someone else mentioned get a pro set up, Then get some Kent Armsrong P'ups ant try it then. I can't be as bad as the 80's Fender Tele's. I have '92 Korean Squier which is better than them!

First of all The Korean ALS48 will be way better than your current axe! Getting it set up by a pro should make it even better. If you can get the Japanese model do, because they are good enough to do you the rest of your playing life. Im 47...I could afford a Gibson...but my Love Rock Ls70f will do ...
