SOLD!

And with that, I no longer own any Tokai's.

It's been a blast picking up guitars in Japan, playing them, and reselling them!

Thanks Tokai Registry!

2001 Tokai LS-200 - Like New Condition

Well howdy! It's been a really long time since I've last logged in, let alone posted. I am the original owner of this guitar and it's never left Japan. I purchased it from the factory but unfortunately I no longer have the paperwork. It's been kept in a climate controlled house for the last 15 years...

My 1981 LS-150 has an upgrade by these guys, RS Guitarworks, & it is the best-sounding Lester I've ever heard. http://www.rsguitarworks.net/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=42&Itemid=48 Very highly thought of in the industry - & they get Chicago Telephone Supply (aka CTS) and Hovland t...

Wow! What's happened to the MIJ Market?!!?!?

Greetings Ya'll! It's been a LONG time since I last posted here. I think my last few posts were when I was thinning out the herd, and man did I thin it out! I had some real beauties that I wish I had as I've got that bug again. (An old webpage www.backyardbullet.com/guitar.html I still have the whit...

Ha... nice story & looks like a happy end ... well done both of you :D . CS-J ,... I know xs filler may look a little "cheapo", & have to admit my 82 LS60 has quite a bit of filler on the traps, but otherwise the guitar is so darned good I can easily forgive that, 2-cents :-? . Dana ... you're not ...

...Oh, one more thing... If I had to choose between the Tokai and the Burny which would you recommend? Thanks... That's like telling your kids who you love more! Based on feel, I love them both. Looks and overall condition, the GT is better. Sound wise, they are two different guitars, but I'd say t...

I really like my Peavey Classic 30. You need some stompboxes to get heavy sounds from it though. Otherwise it sounds great, especially the cleans..... I second the Peavey Classic 30 (and extension cab for a little extra). Oh and the cream colored Peavey's always sound better than the black t...

Gibson Les Paul Strings. 009's or 010's depending on the guitar and pickups.
