Thanks. I'm looking into the Quattro box for some audio/MIDI recording. I'm gonna try some direct line-in stuff first, but can't do the MIDI that way...

Firewire/USB/Line in on Laptop Recording...?

After buying a new Sony Vaio laptop for personal use and recording, I'm still trying to figure out the best way to get sound into the machine. I have seen the TC Firewire units for $1000 or more, and the various USB products for $300... (The SoundBlaster Extigy is only around $100...) Does anyone ha...

Did you get the 335 yet? I have a Hamer copy, that I like alot, but wondered what you thought of the Tokai. They might be made in the same place? Mike's has sold me some cool guitars for reasonable cash...

My Everest LP is now sporting a pair of Bartolini neck pups, and they sound great. I took out the chrome HBs, and was worried that the black soapbar looking Bartolinis might ruin the cosmetics. They didn't. The sound is very rich and lots of low end. (What I was looking for...) It makes sense, if yo...

I was looking into an import of a Tokai LS200 or 320, until a Heritage H-150 CM goldtop custom followed me home, so to speak. When you get into guitars in the $1000 and up range, it's pretty hard to go wrong if you deal with legit people and brand names. Given the choice, I'd take a 320 over a Gibso...

My wife has dealt with my weakness for musical instruments for 23 years, and I'm sure she's about had it. I have begun a kitchen remodel, that must be completed before I can get back on the market for guitars again... But, like other beautiful items, I still like to look...

I have honestly looked, and looked, and looked for a defect of any kind in my Dillion, and can't find any. My buddy has a Korean Epiphone LP that is same color, but my guitar is lighter weight, thinner neck, and tighter inlays and neck joint. The stop-tail and tune-o-matic bridge are a little bit sm...

I own a DLP678, which is like your guitar, only with 2 P-90 pickups. It IS AN AWESOME GUITAR. The basic difference with the Gibson LP, aside from the headstock shape, is the space between the end of the fretboard and the neck pickup trim. Mine also came from Canada, and have heard the same Tokai/Dil...
