tokai UES120

Thanks Luis, thats an interesting piece of information. This one has beautiful flame and a really nice fingerboard, plays very fast and very light and resonant. I played it live at a jam and was really impressed the way it made a rather dud amp sound good. Then, when I gave it back to the owner he s...

I have an '84 on loan with only the bridge pickup in it, as an "Esquire" and it sounds very good.

Thanks Luis!

I had a feeling it was 2005 but not sure. Yes, it seems like lacquer finish, very thin and has that smell to it. I just bought this guitar after two years of wanting it and its an incredible sounding guitar and sustains like no other I've owned.

Anyone have a fairly recent Tokai ES100 or 120 for sale?

Anyone have a fairly recent Tokai ES100 or 120 for sale? Doesn't have to be a vintage one, preferably in natural or tobacco sunburst?

I agree. I find I need the neck pickup more in lower volume situations. It's almost essential to me now. Rolling off treble on a bridge P90 doesn't get you anywhere near that tone. But still.....

This Junior my friend lent me is very nice but after playing it for two weeks I find the fingerboard a little flat. I couldn't give a damn about what the wood is, it sounds right and it plays pretty good apart from the flatness. I think thats just because I'm used to the old Fender radius now and ca...

How common are Tokai double cut Juniors?

Someone has loaned me a cherry red 2014(I think!) model and it's a really good guitar. Having owned an original 1959 Gibson LP Junior I can say that this is not far off to being everything that guitar was, which was seriously great. A bit heavier but not too much so. How much do these retail for and...

WTB: Tech21 Sansamp 'Fly Rig Brit' or 'Fly Rig 5'.

Anyone have either for sale? I'd consider the 'Cali' too if offered. Maybe also an original ' Sansamp'.

Thanks

Mike.
