Tokai vs Navigator

Once I owned Navigator 380, but it lacked sound attractiveness. I prefered my old Tokais which have tighter sound and direct feel. As a result, I sold my Navigator. Recently, I have got Gibson Histroric 58 HRM top, which has interestingly quite similar feel to Navigator. I still prefer my Tokais (LS...

Hi Tokai Joe, Are you sure of the "four rules" ? Who did you talk to ? I can't disclose my position, but I have different views/evidences. Do you live in Yokohama ? I am in Tokyo. Can we have an off-line meeting ? P.S. KFD03611 - korewa watashino nifuti- no adoresu desu. nifty no atoni dotto komu wo...

Thank you ...

I think the above Japanese is almost perfect. It does not have to be perfect. I can feel your emotion and heart from your sentences, which is universal. Slightly being off the topic, I was moved by one following remark I heard from a Tokai craftman a few months ago ; " We are making so many OEM guit...

Thank you for quickand heart-warming post. Just one general note.
I will add some translation besides messages for Tokai, so there is
no problem to use English. Of course, Japanese is great, too.

Thanks in advance.

I wanted to record less distorted sound, but I haven't been able to do it right. The first take uses 57 Classic and the second Gotoh. I like both of them to be honest. When I am in an aggressive mood, I tend to use Gotoh. Sorry for my poor examples.

my website English version

Sorry I don't have one at present for Tokai guitars. I need a compelling drive from behind for me to start translating. :D Perhaps, if I can visit Tokai factory, then I will write a report in English, which would be the trigger event.

Just received a response from the business development department of
Tokai Guitar. They sound a bit reserved saying "there are not many
people remaining familiar with old models."

I need to explain why I would like to visit their factory :)

Will see ...

:):) I am home :):) I just learned that the longest traffic jam on May 3 will be for 55km (more than 30 miles) on a certain highway ! Being at home sometimes brings luck. 14 minutes ago, I received an e-mail from the kind editor of Japan Vintage No.2. He has seen 6=2A, 4=11, 4=12, 12&#...
