I realize it has been a long time since I posted. I believe the guitar is a Tokai Built SA Model... quick giveaway is the neck tenon is offset towards the low "E" string and square routing,. I recently got a pair of DRY1982 pickups for it.

Thank you for your insight. It has long been a mystery to me. The guitar is an exceptional piece and plays better than the Gibson ES335 I had. I sold the Gibson and kept the Greco.
If you look at the SA1200 brochures this guitar is identical to the '81. What makes you say it isn't?
