I'll ask you one more thing, ok? What Model of Gibson LP would this be comparable to? I would think not a Standard or ones like that, right? Maybe a "Classic"? I don't think those newer Gibsons are Lacquer, unless you get up in to the $1500 and more, yes?

Howdy Sig.. She's a 2018. I have had 5 or 6 Lefties before (all Japanese Made) and they were all every bit as good as my 1995 Gibson 1960 Tribute. But..that Gibson had "the" neck...kinda slim taper I guess. The best Tokai I ever had was a Gold Top with P90s. Man, I wish I still had that. Tommy

Guys, I have a chance to pick up either an 85-86 3 Color Sunburst, or and 86 or 87 Candy Apple Red, both are about $900.00US dollars. Would any of you fellows know what body wood(s) they were using on the LEFTY 62 Teles back then? If it is Basswood, I think I might just skip these and get one...

hey guys! that is mine. i live in brooklyn, new york. i have that one and a matching cherry sunburst as well as a cherry LC138, which is the same as the newer LC205...only the identification number has changed due to the year/cost. i got all three about 1 1/2 years ago and have never touched...
