    1978 GRECO SA-900

It's been quite some time since I last posted, but having the same guitar, same year, then I felt moved to get back on the board! I can't recommend this axe highly enough. In the past few years mine has seen off a lovely OBG ES and my blondie SA-1200! In my book, praise doesn't get much...

1979 greco's with the funky headstock

Au contraire! I have an earlier '78 SA-900 project Series, which, bizarrely has the 'correct' headstock - and its a belter! As Mark may recall, I had a beautiful OBG reissue, and a gorgeous SA-1200 (blondie) from him, DRY Z's 'an all, and the SA-900 saw them both off! Of course, 'one man's...

    The Elephant in the room

Not the orignal case - here's what that looks like http://www.plankspankers.co.uk/Japanese%20Vintage%20Guitars.htm I bought mine in 1985, new, at Rockshop in Camden, London for ?179, reduced from ?479! I sold it around 3 years ago for ?600 through LOOT classifieds. Great guitar, but: - hard to...

    Greco PU2 Questions

Yes Mark...spot on, and as I wrote in a very recent post on this forum about my beloved EGF-1200, the flip over from bridge to neck pickups is veeery special indeed. Makes the whole LP experience much more satisfying and varied tonally. I used to be a Strat man, only, but the DRY Z/1200 combo...

    egf-1200 "sunburst lady".....

...how do I feel now now about my EGF-1200? ....much the same really, which is odd, as like everyone else on the forum I suspect, I usually start looking elsewhere after a few weeks/months with any axe, but not with this one. Why? Here are some reasons: - unbeliveable tone - try the bridge to...

    egf-1200 "sunburst lady".....

Any excuse to post my beauty...strange, but such is the magic of the EGF-1200, I can't imagine parting with it...any other, perhaps yes (after waving off so, so many over so many years...), but the 1200 not only looks sensatiional, but gives you 'the' definitive Les Paul tone..... More on my...

    WTB Greco SA-900

Blindblake, you don't say where you live. I have a 1978 SA-900 you may want to look at if you haven't visited my website already. Can't envisage parting with it, but never say never! I live in Surrey, England

Greco Pickguard to fit early 80s Les Paul (EGF)

Does anyone have a spare pickguard out there to fit a Greco LP - early 80s? I've put an Allparts one on and it doesn't fit properly. If so, let me know and suggest a price (post to UK). Many thanks.

Greco '82 MC Goldtop & Seymour Duncan 'Traditional Serie

Pains me to part with both of these, but has to be done - both on eBay, runs 'til Sunday. Both in great condition and real beauts. UK sale only - sorry. Seymour Duncan 'Traditional Series' Stratocaster - '94...

My new 1981 EGF-1200.. I had another child!!

Great guitar you have there - v. similar top to mine, I've not seen another quite like it. Yours is in great condition, - even the sticker's in place! Mine has beautifully yellowed/aged binding, and with the dark red mahogany, really adds to the whole feel/vibe of the guitar - bags of...

Wanted to show you my SA 900... finally got it back together

Fantastic and very worthwhile job you have done there! I have a '78 SA-900 too and it is totally awesome - can't fault it. It has the most mojo of any of my guitars and reeks of top quality construction and materials. As for the pups, I have DRY Zs in my EGF-1200, and I had a pair in my (since...

    Greco Gold Top 1982

I've posted this news in the other place too...but here's my lovely new '82 Greco Goldie....I love it already... ...still not had chance to have a good rummage around the internals (has to be done!), but so far all is great!

    DRY Z

See my post on page 1 of this thread for DRY Z sound clip by a japanese player... Still haven't got round to recording my Dry Zs yet, but there's some activity on the band front now so perhaps something soon. I love em' .... they sound better in my EGF-1200 than they did in my (ex) SA-1200...
