    I've got one of these that I bought new back in 1984. Same finish, same case. First serious guitar that I bought.

    Goldstar Strat 1984 tuners

    Does anyone know if the tuners on a 1984 Tokai Goldstar Strat are nickel or chrome? I think nickel, but a mistake will cost me £25. Thanks for your help. I broke one of mine when the guitar fell over. I've had it from new. Gutted.
