    Tokai Jeff Beck model?

Gottfried, I surprised that by the sellers discription that you can see the original mounting holes for the stop tailpiece. They must have converted guitars that were already planned to be regular production guitars. Do you have any other info about this model that you can share with us? How...

    Tokai Jeff Beck model?

Check it out. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170312188281&category=2384&_trksid=p3907.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DSI%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D15%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D54 I'm no expert on Tokai's, but this looks to me to have been done "outside" the factory!

    ES-120

I notice that it sold yesterday. That seemed like a great price for ES 120. It looks to be in excellent condition. That guitar has it all, nice flamed wood, lacquer finish, original case. Yummy!

From what I understand this was a limited run. Even togps in the original posting indicated the rarity of the guitar. I was just offering possible reasons why the original owner would not want a damaged guitar. I agree that for some that are players in clubs, bars etc., realize that the guitar...

The finish looks to be gone completly down to the bare wood with the fillercoat showing. That's what I'm seeing and I looking very closely...see :o

It's not a blem, It's a chip in the finish. That's clear from the pic. A blem is from the factory and I doubt that the guitar left Tokai like that. My take anyway. I understand what you are saying, but not everybody sees it that way. Would you accept a $20 adjustment in this case? Also, another...

I guess that some guys figure if thay pay for a new guitar that they get a new guitar. The good thing is that the new buyer knows about the damage before is arrived. No suprises or disappointments that way.
