The final version: with Gibson historic washer, pickup mounting rings, pickguard and toggle switch cap. Also replaced complete wiring. Only originals are body, neck and pots.

I'm using Burstbuckers 2 and 3 in my Goldtop. Sounds great!

Update: I now use Gibson Les Paul Signature strings (0.09-0.46), so smooth! New nut from Graph Tech and a set of Gibson Burstbuckers 2+3, to my humble opinion they do sound brighter than the stock pickups. Anyone (in the neighbourhood) interested in the stock pickups?

Hi, I kept the Original pots and wiring, perhaps in future I'll replace the wiring. No use to change the pots, they're allways on 10........ Guitar sounds a little brighter (I think!).

Yep, and I used the Original screws.

Hi, I also have pickups with LP-AR and LP-AF on the back. I'm playing a 2009 LS85 Gold top. Are they MK2's from Gotoh? Please advise.
